Dr. Ashleigh Alex is a third-generation dentist who was born and raised right here in Huntington, NY. Her grandfather began caring for patients as a general dentist in this community more than 70 years ago, and her father continued that tradition. Today, Dr. Alex is honored to carry on her family's legacy by providing advanced, compassionate orthodontic care to the neighbors and families in the community she calls home.

As a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction achieved by fewer than one in three orthodontists, Dr. Alex has demonstrated the highest level of clinical expertise in her field. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she received the Dr. Milton Schlesinger Award for Excellence in Research. She then completed a three-year orthodontic residency at Columbia, also earning a Master of Science degree. At every appointment, she brings together rigorous training and genuine warmth to deliver care you can trust.
Outside of the Office
When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Alex enjoys exploring local restaurants with her husband, Tyler, relaxing with her rescue kitten, Elvis, and practicing yoga. She loves being part of the Huntington community and supporting the local businesses she grew up with.
